AJA MAHOGANY IS A NEW YORK BASED AFRICAN AMERICAN ARTIST.

I’ve always pursued performance. It’s an intrinsic function of mine. In every phase of my life, I’ve performed. When I was younger I was in choir, band, plays, musicals, step teams, volleyball teams- the lot. I couldn’t explain it. Every venue was a stage for me to have an experience and connect with others. It was adventure. Exploration.

I found myself playing Joanne in Rent and Inga in Young Frankenstein among others- singing is my first love. My pursuance also lead me to The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. I graduated its Two Year Acting Conservatory Program, then joined The Academy’s 2020-2021 Company Season. I played Marc Antony in Julius Caesar, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Lucy in The Luck of the Irish.

Since then I’ve been building my career on my own. I played Winny in We Jump Broom at Playwrights Horizons and been cast in a few web series. I even opened myself to modeling (you’ll find great shots on my gallery page!) It is a great joy to expand my creative endeavors and share them with you.

p.s. I am an art model, and would love to connect with you to schedule a booking!
